Øivind Loe

Chief Technology Officer

As the founding CTO at Circuit, Øivind Loe is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of technology development to meet the company’s short and long-term goals. His leadership experience, strategic thinking, innovative mindset, technical skills, and industry knowledge make him a key player on the executive team.

Prior to Circuit, Øivind served as co-founder and CTO of Sips by, an innovative, successful DTC company using AI and algorithms to personalize tea discovery for its customers. Under his leadership, the company was listed #79 on the INC5000 and had over one million subscribed members.

Previously, Øivind led product marketing and engineering teams at Silicon Labs and Energy Micro, designing, implementing, and promoting the world’s most energy efficient microcontrollers. This breakthrough technology started at Energy Micro where Øivind led the team through the development of groundbreaking autonomous low-power systems. 

Øivind’s journey in the tech industry began at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where he earned his MSc in Engineering Cybernetics focused on autonomous control of complex systems. 

Øivind is not only a technology visionary but also a people-oriented leader committed to building strong, positive team cultures. In his spare time, he loves tinkering with new and old technologies and spending time with his wife and two crazy Australian shepherds.
